Our Mission
Revelstoke Secondary School will work towards the development of individual potential in all students. Together with the community, the staff will provide learning experiences which will improve self-esteem, pride, tolerance, and socially responsible behaviors. These activities will enable the students to acquire the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to contribute responsibly to the well being of our changing society, as well as creating a safe, caring and orderly school environment.
Our Motto
Respect… yourself, your environment and others
Safety… for everyone, everywhere
Success… in our endeavors
Principal's Message
Greg Kenyon
Principal
I want to welcome all of our students, parents/guardians, and broader school community to RSS for 2024-2025. I look forward to building positive relationships with everyone at RSS this year and am excited about seeing so many familiar faces!
This year, RSS will continue to focus on building and maintaining a culture and climate built upon Respect, Safety, and Success. The foundation of our culture is all those positive and supportive relationships the students have built with the adults in the building, as well as with each other. This culture and climate is fostered through focussing on intentional supportive actions throughout the school by everyone.
One change of note this year is the Code of Conduct’s inclusion of Personal Electronic Devices. If you have any questions regarding this change, please call.
Best wishes for this school year. It’s going to be a great one!

I honour the unceded territory upon which we learn, live, play and work, and the peoples with whom we share this land: the Sinixt, the Ktunaxa, the Syilx-Okanagan, and the Secwepemc.
