Screen Smart Events: Week of May 5th
Don’t forget to take your Screen Smart passports to each event. Ask at the main office or the RSS Library for more information:

- May 12th: Free Swim @ Aquatic Centre, 1pm-4pm
Workshop: Peer Communication – May 15th
Join Sheena Bell as she gives you the tools to communicate with your peers. Learn how to initiate those tough conversations and provide support for your friends. Sign up for this workshop in the main office.
Workshop: Support Yourself/Support Others – May 16th
Jennifer Wright of Columbia River Counselling will be hosting a workshop on stress, depression and anxiety. Learn how to identify the differences, how to support yourself and others, and ask the right kind of questions. Sign up for this workshop in the main office.
Workshop: Nutrition and Healthy Eating – May 17th
Stephanie China of Crossfit Revelstoke will be hosting a workshop on nutrition and healthy eating. come learn how to fuel your body and reach you nutrition goals. Sign up for this workshop in the main office.
Stoke Youth Fitness: Free!
Free drop-in for RSS Students after school on Fridays at Trans-Canada fitness.
Stoke Youth Yoga: Free!
Free Yoga on Wednesdays at 4:00pm at the Balu Yoga Studio. No experience needed. Meg will be offering transportation if you need a ride. Namaste!

Games Night at the Public Library
Come and play board games and eat pizza with the StokeYouth Network! Tuesdays from 3:30pm-5:30pm at the public library. Meg and Leslie can give you a ride if you need one.
LGBTQ Students and Allies
You are invited to a lunch group on Wednesdays in the Community Connections office.
If you need any extra help with homework, some time to use the computer lab, or just a quiet place to study, come to the Homework Club in the library. It starts September 14th and continues through the year on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 3:15-4:30pm. (Ms. Carey)
