Graduation Requirements

In order to graduate with a Dogwood, every student in the Graduation Program has to pass certain basic courses at the grade 10-12 level:

GRADE 10
  1. English 10
  2. Social Studies 10
  3. Science 10
  4. One Math 10 Course (2 choices)
    • Foundations and Pre-Calc Math 10    **OR**
    • Apprenticeship & Workplace Math 10
  5. Physical Education 10
  6. Planning 10
GRADE 11
  1. English 11 **OR** Communications 11
  2. One Math 11 (3 choices)
    • Foundations of Math 11 **OR**
    • Pre-Calc Math 11 **OR**
    • Apprenticeship & Workplace Math 11
  3. Social Studies 11 **OR** First Nations 12
  4. One Science 11 (5 choices)
    • Chemistry 11 **OR**
    • Biology 11 **OR**
    • Physics 11 **OR**
    • Earth Science 11 **OR**
    • Sustainable Resources 11
GRADE 12
  1. English 12 **OR** First Peoples 12 **OR** Communications 12
  2. A minimum of 4 grade 12 level courses (including English)
  3. Graduation Transitions  (not a class, but a 4-Credit process)

Additional Requirements for Graduation:

  1. At least one Fine Arts or Applied Skills 10, 11 or 12
  2. a minimum of 20 courses (80 Credits)
